NAD+ Therapy

NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is a coenzyme found in all living cells and has even been called an anti-aging molecule because of its many vital roles in promoting health and prolonging lifespan. This potent molecule has a lot of potential for new therapeutic opportunities. Studies have shown that it can help battle many effects of aging and chronic conditions on the human body and brain.

In layman’s terms, we need NAD+ to live. However, as we get older, our bodies generate less and less of the coenzyme. This is one reason we begin to feel the effects of aging and become more prone to age-related illnesses as the years pass.

NAD+ IV Therapy Benefits:

  • ZSlows cognitive decline
  • ZPromotes healthy brain function
  • ZFights chronic fatigue
  • ZIncreases energy
  • ZBoosts metabolism
  • ZRegenerates cells
  • ZSlows aging
  • ZReduces internal inflammation

What to expect?

A simple NAD+ IV infusion can help activate your brain’s neuron function by helping cells regenerate and protect them against damage. This results in increased mental cognition, including better mental clarity, higher concentration, and enhanced memory function. This overall boost in brain function can also help guests overcome other types of mental struggles. IV therapy can help you battle against common conditions like depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Whether you’re fighting chronic fatigue due to illness or just feeling the effects of getting older, NAD+ can make you feel more energetic and put a spring back in your step again. A coenzyme infusion administered intravenously helps provide energy to your body’s cells on a molecular level. Besides improving your overall energy, NAD+ also contributes to a healthy metabolism. A smoothly functioning metabolism is an integral part of dealing with weight management and blood sugar issues.

NAD+ is given to patients intravenously under the care of a professional. You may be asked to listen to music or read a favorite book or magazine or even watch a few movies during treatment to pass the time.

The infusion is given to the patient as a slow drip. Some side effects to be aware of are histamine response causing congestion, a heaviness sensation in chest/core area sometimes dissipating to extremities, tightness in the chest, or general discomfort. The nutrients then bathe the brain and produce very positive results. When the NAD+ is administered, it reacts with the oxygen in our cell’s mitochondria to create energy for our heartbeat, movements, breathing, blood pumping, food digestion, and brain functions.

Most patients need about 6-10 infusions to feel their best. Treatment length varies depending on your needs. Individual infusions can last between 1-4 hours. Some patients can run the IV drip very quickly, while others may have more symptoms and need the drip to run more slowly.

NAD+ can be added after your ketamine infusion or booked as a separate appointment. Given the potential length of time of the infusions, they can only be scheduled before 2:30 pm.
